Built to help women create stable futures.
Help A Sis Out Incorporated exists to make support easier to find, more dignified to receive, and more powerful when women are ready to lead.
Our work brings practical resources, education, mentorship, and community relationships together so women and families do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone.
Mission
To empower women and families through meaningful support, educational opportunities, mentorship, and trusted community resources that foster stability, self-sufficiency, and leadership.
Vision
We envision a community where every woman has the resources, knowledge, relationships, and confidence to build a stable, successful, and self-defined future.
How we serve.
Empower
Give women information, tools, and room to choose their own next step.
Support
Meet immediate needs while protecting dignity and long-term possibility.
Connect
Build trusted relationships across families, organizations, and neighborhoods.
Lead
Create pathways for women to shape the communities they belong to.
Speak with women, never at them.
We lead with honesty, respect, and useful support. No pity-based messaging. No making people perform pain before they are treated with dignity.
“Support should help a woman see more choices, not make her feel smaller for needing help.”
Stand With UsLatina Washington
Behind every mission is a story, and behind Help A Sis Out Incorporated is a vision built on compassion, resilience, and the belief that no woman should have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Latina Washington is the Founder and CEO of Help A Sis Out Incorporated, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and restoring women and families by connecting them with resources, education, support, and opportunities that inspire growth and stability.
As an entrepreneur, community advocate, mentor, and mother, Latina understands the importance of having a support system during life’s toughest moments. Her passion is creating a space where women feel seen, valued, encouraged, and equipped with the tools they need to move forward.
Through Help A Sis Out, Latina is building more than an organization; she is building a movement centered around empowerment, connection, and community impact. Her vision is clear: when women are supported, families are strengthened, and communities thrive.
One woman, one family, and one community at a time.
